Bright spots in the spring weather draw me outdoors. Monday morning was beautiful as the warmth of the morning sun wrapped around me sitting in a quiet spot surrounded by sandstone outcrops, old hollies and an English spring on the move.
I sat and painted four round watercolours in a book to try to encapsulate the experience, well thats what artist always say. I know it can't be done . . we just like sitting in the open air with paints I think.
The one shown here is the second of two done in the studio.
