Where reason fails . . .


After a real effort to be more conventional, I found myself drawing these two flying figures.
Chagall who was not averse to the odd flying figure may influence, but I do have strong recollections of a book I read while in Primary school about a boy who flew - an impression that even after 60yrs, never really went away. 

You can see the numerous adjustments needed for me to reach a simplicity of idea that reflected my thought, now colour must further refine the sensation
